Kanban leaders aren't as commonly-referenced in the world of software as often as Scrum Masters, usually because the Scrum Master will take on any necessary Kanban leader duties. In a world outside of Scrum, a Kanban leader is tasked with one main goal: to improve the flow of work. This may be attained through framework guidance, removing roadblocks, and tracking metrics to find and investigate processes that reduce the flow of work.
